The Sandbach Transport Festival 2025

Celebrating the town's transport heritage with the main event: A variety of vehicles from classic cars to modern classics, from trucks to planes and everything in between.

What to expect


More than just transport, the festival will combine four components to ensure entertainment for the whole family.

  • Transport

    Celebrating the town's transport heritage with the main event: A variety of vehicles from Sandbachs’ historic Foden/ERF heritage to then classic cars to modern classics, from trucks to planes and everything in between.

  • Live Music

    Showcasing local talent in a celebration of music with a carefully curated lineup of bands and acts, we have our Music on the Cobbles (Provided by Sandbach Town Council) event on Saturday with more live music from the infamous Foden Band and other local talent on the Sunday.

  • Family

    Lots of family friendly entertainment suitable for all ages. With Transport related attractions alongside traditional fairground, ice creams and more the younger ones will have lots to see and do.

  • Food

    A variety of food and drink outlets will provide an array of hot/cold food & drink as well as alcoholic beverages.

The weekend breakdown

  • Foden/ERF Tribute & Entertainment

    Celebrate Sandbach’s rich ERF and Foden heritage with an impressive display of well-preserved trucks. This showcase honors the town's proud manufacturing history, featuring iconic vehicles that helped shape the transport industry.

    On The Edge Motorcycle Stunt Team Show
    11.30am - 1.00pm - 2.15pm (Saturday only). Large Common Car Park.

    Fusion Extreme BMX Show
    12.15pm - 1.45pm 2.15pm - 3.00pm (Saturday only). Large Common Car Park.

    Music Main Stage
    Cobbles Area 1.00pm to 9.30pm Acts list below.

    Military Transport and Vehicle Display and the return of the Spitfire Aircraft,  Small Car Park Outside Market Hall. 

    Oshkosh Striker 6×6 Engine on display until 4pm

    Food Stalls and Trade Stands Around Whole Area. 

    Kids Fairground in Sandbach Park.

  • Vehicle Display, Parade & Foden Band

    A must-visit event, featuring a vibrant public showcase of modern and classic vehicles. From vintage gems to cutting-edge transport, it’s a celebration of automotive history and innovation perfect for enthusiasts and families alike.

    Main Vehicle Display
    Large Common Car Park - Vehicle Parade 4.00pm

    Vintage Bus Rides
    11.00am from outside the Well Pharmacy by the Commons. It will run along High Town, down Old Mill Road A533 then up the High Street back to the Commons.  The bus will make about 3 journeys an hour from 11.00am to 1.00pm and then from 1.30pm to 4.00pm. (Sunday only).

    Cobbles Area 12.00pm to 4.00pm Foden Band and Support Brass Band

    Military Transport and Vehicle Display and the return of the Spitfire Aircraft,  Small Car Park Outside Market Hall

Road Closures


During the weekend, it is essential that we close some roads to make it safe for the public and the attendees. Closures typically include the following:
